A quick update on what's going on in my online shop. The most recently uploaded garment is an Audrey coat in size 10 in one of my favourite tweeds, the Cream & Fawn Diamond Twill from Ardalanish. As many of you know, all Ardalanish tweeds are woven on the Isle of Mull using natural undyed yarns - which I personally find very compelling as it connects you with the features of different breeds. The cream in the yarn is from Shetland sheep and the honey colour is from Manx Loughton, both native to these isles and hence, of course, low impact as they've thrived for centuries before anti-biotics and so on.
I've also got one Oatmeal coat left in this style, in size 8. It's a very easy fit so if you are narrow up top then this might be right for you:
As well as this, the one I'm wearing this year is my Maugham jacket. For some reason it hasn't sold from the website; maybe it's hard to get a sense of it on the dress stand - it's been a while since I've worked with a model. It has a little bit of shape at the waistline but I wanted it to be quite androgynous and minimalist. I wear it with a polo-neck, cropped moleskin trousers and my favourite new heavy brogue lace-up boots in black. If I'm feeling brave I'll put a picture up next time I'm wearing it. When it's really cold I wear a fabulous vintage cape over the top but that spoils the understated look a little!
Here we go picture of yours truly in the Maugham jacket
